About the Finance Department

The Finance Department is comprised of four sections: Accounts Payable, Budget Control, Categorical Programs, General Ledger and a total of twenty seven employees. Each section has its own unique set of duties and responsibilities; however all sections work towards the common goal of raising student performance.

The Finance Department monitors an annual budget of approximately $280 million that funds a wide range of programs serving our students’ diverse needs. All of our fiscal and accounting practices are regulated by the Governmental Accounting Standards Board, California State Accounting Manual, California Education Code and Board Policies. Our accounting records are audited and certified every year by a contracted CPA firm.
