School Readiness Goals


  1. Children will gain impulse control, self-regulate, and learn to negotiate with others.  Children will also demonstrate eagerness, curiosity, and persistence as they learn and create.
  2. Children will gain social and emotional interaction skills with peers and adults.
  3. Children will increase the use of print and phonological awareness.
  4. Children will establish an increased proficiency in their home language while developing competency in English.
  5. Children will increase quantity, counting, mathematical operations and patterning skills.
  6. Children will increase motor development and gain both, safety and nutrition skills.

  1. Los niños aprenderán control de impulso, autorregulación, y aprenderán a negociar con otros. Los niños demostraran entusiasmo, curiosidad, y persistencia conforme aprenden y crean.
  2. Los niños obtendrán destrezas sociales y emocionales de interacción con sus compañeros y adultos.
  3. Los niños incrementaran el uso de escritura y conocimiento fonológico.
  4. Los niños establecerán un dominio incrementado en el idioma del hogar mientras desarrollan competencia en Ingles.
